Sunset On Bell Rock
This window was created from a photograph taken of Bell Rock in Sedona, AZ. I try to visit here every year to meditate on Bell Rock. So I decided to create my own view out my window in NC. Now I can see Bell every day. This project is 67\" wide by 32\" high My second lead came project, it presented a challenge due to it's size, weight and location. The installation is piggy backed onto the original window whose mullions are embedded between the two original panes. I had to cut matching mullions from black iridized glass to exactly cover the originals. Panel is reinforced on the back with five steel bars. The photo was taken at sunset and this window exactly mimics the sunset effect each day. Glasscrafters supplied lead and glass for sky. Thanks Glasscrafters!
