Walleye
This is an arched window in our home office. (approx. 32x20) A walleye, at my husband's request. It's rather Location appropriate. I scanned the fish off a cover of a book I purchased into glasseye 2000, and free handed the rest. It is copper foil construction with a lead frame.
Largemouth Bass`
This arched window is in our guest bedroom. (approx. 32x20) A Largemouth Bass, again at my husband's request. It's also rather Location appropriate. I scanned the pattern for the fish and free handed the rest. It is copper foil construction with a lead frame.
Hummingbird
My name is Carolyn Rans and I am a beginner. I would like to submit three pictures for your gallery. I live in Tierra Verde, Florida, but these were constructed at our summer home in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Republic, Michigan. They are all copper foil construction. This is a window designed for our master bathroom to have a little privacy from the neck down, but still be able to look out the window. (approx. 32\"x12\") I'm happy with the solution. It's copper foil construction with a zinc frame.
Chief Wawonowin
Greetings, here is another project (1 of 2) to add to the three you already have. My name is Carolyn Rans and I'm from Tierra Verde, Florida. This is Chief Wawonowin. I made this for our summer golf club in Ishpeming, Michigan. It is copper foil construction. The window is 4 feet wide and 2 1/2 feet tall. My husband built a light box for it to live in and it now resides in the bar. The face of the chief and the logo of the club were scanned off of the club's letterhead into glass eye 2000 and the rest is freehand. The workmanship behind the sunburst built to suspend this quite heavy piece was designed by another member who also did all the cabinetry for the bar. I am thrilled that they placed my work \"center stage\".
