Roxie
My name is Elisabyth and am somewhat new to stained glass. I live in Acworth GA and the name of my work is Roxie. I took a picture of my cat and converted it to stained glass. It turned out pretty cool and I'm excited to start on my next cat.
Flower & Bee
This was made for a family in Germany. A good friend of mine commissioned this piece for her Father-in-law. He has bee hives and has a huge flower garden.
Cross
This was commissioned for a 50th wedding present. All of my pieces are foil construction with zinc frame.
L & N
The L&N railroad was for a friend of mine. Her husband loves L&N memorabilia so I made him a piece of stained glass from an old L&N railroad license plate.
Bobby's Iris
This was made for a close friend of mine who's brother died in a car wreck. Instead of sending flowers, I made a piece of stained glass in his memory.
Dogwood Cross
Loved this design - look real close and you can see the cross within the dogwood.
Momma's Lily
My mom has an old friend that lives in Iowa and is an incredible painter. My mom asked me to make a piece of stained glass for her - hopefully we'll see it in a painting!
Auburn
This was made for a family member who is a die-hard Auburn fan. The Auburn has many, many pieces, but because it was so linear - it really didn't take long to put it together.
Georgia
This was made for a family member who is a die-hard Georgia fan.
Tulip
As simple as this one is - it has many characteristics. Some say it looks like a man's face, some say a tulip, and I've even had one say it looks like female reproductive organs :)
Sunflower
The sunflower was to be my first piece. However, when I started working with stained glass last November, I thought what a cool Christmas present this would make. So I made 17 pieces between November and Christmas. Once I got everyone's present done, then the sunflower was to be a present to myself. But wouldn't you know it - I took it to a show and it was the first piece to sell!!
