Jim's Baby Blue
This piece was done for my husband for our 26th wedding anniversary last year. It was done from a photo taken when he first bought the car 6 years ago. I printed an enlarged photo, traced around the details, enlarged the drawing, then used that for my pattern. The finished panel measures approx. 14 x 18 done in copper foil. It was a fun project. My husband did not know I was working on this until he saw it hanging in the window on 2-14-2008. He was definitely surprised.
Misfits Logo
This piece was made from the logo of our antique car club. The design was traced from a design on the club's T-shirt. What a fun piece to do. I donated this artwork for a raffle to raise money for local charities during one of our car shows. Copper foil method was used.
Fleur-de-lis Window
The center of this piece was given to some friends for a house warming present. Their old home was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina and this was for the new home. She gave it back to me recently to incorporate into a window for her bathroom. The finished piece is 12 x 24 and done in copper foil with zinc came border. They were very pleased with the finished product, as was I.
Red Fish
The Red Fish was made using the copper foil method. It is for my pottery instructor per his request and he is making me a piece of pottery. Just love the barter system.
Four Seasons in Glass
The second piece is Four Seasons in Glass from one of my books. It is also copper foil method and was a fun piece to put together. This one I keep! Thanks for all your wonderful help in making my 24 years of stained glass work a pleasure.
Fleur de lis
This Fleur de lis was made especially to donate to a silent auction fund raiser for a local hospital. It's 16-1/2 square. Lead with zinc came on the outside holds this piece together.
