Cowboys
The two pieces in the attached photo are stained glass (copper foil) and stepping stone with lead came in stone to set cowboys in. The tree/cactus is actually a piece of Cholla Cactus that has been sanded and stained, before setting in the stepping stone. I got the idea from the Cowboy silhouette, I created a pattern in smaller size and figured where to cut and colors to use to make it look good. Everyone that sees them wants them.
Eagle Head
Copper Foil method. Original picture came from a Calendar and I made a pattern from it. I used a glass saw to get the feathered effect and used a glass bead for the eye.
Sea Horse Suncatcher
Enlarged a small photo of a seahorse and created a pattern from it for this suncatcher. Copper foil method and completed this project in about 3 hours time.
Cowboy Lamp
Made with stepping stone base, copper foil stained glass figure, choa cactus, barbed wire, and jute rope with river rocks. The cord for the lamp actually runs through the hollow choa cactus.
