The Mantis
This one is called The Mantis. It is a rollercoaster. The track supports are made from 3/8 inch copper coated welding rod. The praying mantis is a VERY heavy trial model from Monster Metals. It is about a foot long and is airbrushed. The faux stone walkways are sponge painted and tack fused. The railing is made from fishing spinners and lead.
Mattie's Place
This is called Mattie's place Mattie is the dragon. The entire castle walls are my collection of scrap Spectrum glass in shades of gray, white, black and tan. They have been sponge painted with various Unique paints to simulate granite and then fired. The castle measures about 2 feet by 2 feet and 32 inches tall. There are over 5000 pieces in the castle (I lost count!) and a little over 900 in Mattie. Two of the gem encrusted towers are removable kalaidoscopes.
Lighthouse
My name is Jackie Hughes and I live in Lewiston, Idaho. The Lighthouse is one of several 3-D projects I have done.
