1900's Lampshade
This lampshade is an adaptation of a early 1900's model. using the copper foil method. It is primaraily Wissmach glass about 98% with some Oceana 2%. The orignal design was a bell shaped globe and I only used specific portions of it, The base measures 23 inches and the aperture is 5 inches. I have a Lady friend that got me started with stained glass and I have found that I have never had a more rewarding hobby, This is the sixth lampshade I have made.
Christmas Angel
Hello this angel panel is simply called Christmas angel. The Idea came from a beautiful card my friend recieved last Christmas, This was a collabaration project between her and I. It is also a melding of both copper foil and lead came styles The glass is 90% Wissmach and 10% unknown origin, The crystal jewels are of austrian origin. It has 764 pieces. We both can put our names on this one, we are Marylou Galati and Keith McIntyre of Canonsburg Pa. and Carnegie Pa respectively. Thank you glass crafters
Sun & Moon
I made this piece and donated it to be raffled off at the local American cancer societys relay for life I'm involved in. I thought the sun and moon pattern would work well with the sun and moon pattern the cancer society uses at there relays. It measures about 14x14 and is a mixture of unspecified Wissmach and Youghiogeny glass.
