Echos.
Each of the two panels measures 18x24, and incorporates four different clear textured varieties of Spectrum glass. The pattern in each panel's center is meant to echo the pattern in the lovely, old leaded glass windows that are across the room from these panels.
Abstract Panel
This 12x36 copper foil panel now hangs in the office of an administrator at McMaster University (Hamilton ON). The six discs in the panel are my favorite elements.
Guitar for Noah
I've attached a jpeg of contribution to the artists' gallery. Previously, I had submitted two other pieces to the gallery. The piece, which is 18 x 24, is called Guitar for Noah. This panel was a gift for my grandson, a talented young musician. The piece celebrates two of the instruments that he plays, piano and guitar. Another panel (under construction) features the same keyboard border, but features a drum set in its center. All of the glass I used was Spectrum; the frame is standard zinc came.
