Stained glass mosaic, measures 22 x 15 inches. This is my first mosaic made from stained glass.

Savanna
Tile mosaic, measures 18 x 13 inches. This is my first mosaic. It is made from scrap floor tiles.

Tiger Lilies
Tile mosaic, measures 22 x 17 inches. This was created from scrap floor tiles, many from the 1960's. The tiles are of different thicknesses, so some areas slope inwards, and the piece is quite sculptural. Sudarshan includes experiences from her past and her travels in the art she creates today. Her art begins from within: instead of concentrating on the outcome of her creative work, Sudarshan begins by working with her inner connection to the materials. The process of creating a piece often becomes the message of the piece.
